Our Approach

We believe that each individual have their own needs and understand that the same approach doesn’t work for everyone. An individual’s treatment needs are determined by a multitude of factors and this information is imperative to ensure an individualized and proper treatment plan is put into place for the most comprehensive care possible.

Whether you are in need of Substance Abuse or Dual-Diagnosis Treatment services, we begin your treatment by completing a full BioPsychoSocial Assessment of your historical and current Biological, Psychological and Social (Environmental) factors that have impacted your life.

So what does that mean? This will provide us with information on your previous experiences and current needs, which will then help to set the roadmap of what your needs and goals are and determine how we can best accommodate them in order to help you succeed.
This will include areas such as:

  • Substance Abuse History
  • Mental Health History
  • Family Systems
  • Social System
  • Spirituality
  • Trauma History
  • Financial history
  • Legal History
  • Employment/Vocational History
  • Current symptoms and medical issues
  • Previous and current Psychiatric Diagnoses
  • Client Strengths, Needs, Abilities and Preferences
  • Desired Goals and Treatment Outcomes

Once completed, you will work closely with your therapist to decide what areas you would like to focus on and assist in the creation of your treatment plan. This plan will be adjusted on an ongoing basis to reflect your changing needs, goals, and improvements.

During treatment, our staff of qualified and thoroughly-trained Master’s Level Clinicians and Substance Abuse Case Managers will provide groups and education on addiction and mental health, Codependency, Cross-addictions, emotional, regulation, distress tolerance, health and nutrition, life skills, budgeting, interview skills, communication skills, healthy boundaries and relationships, attachment styles, anger management, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Sex and Love Addiction, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, recovery support, relapse prevention, codependency and much more. Our goal is to provide our client’s with all the skills sets and education they need to live a healthy, sober life and provide them with every tool possible so they can “take what they like and leave the rest” and find what works for them while also learning a variety of evidence-based approaches that have been shown to be effective

We want to provide our clients with every opportunity to develop the skills they will need as they re-enter the “real world”. By making positive choices with the help of their support team while in treatment, clients will gain confidence that they can continue on this positive trajectory and continue growing once they leave our care.

We believe that our carefully planned step-down care should act as the “training wheels” for the client as they gradually re-integrate back into society and their new lives in recovery. We have had clients take their 1 years of sobriety while in our care, became house-managers of other treatment centers, go back to school or advance their chosen career while within the support of treatment facility. Once you have completed our Outpatient program, we are confident those “training wheels” can come off and you can maintain a sober, healthy and productive lifestyle on your own.
